Do you need a fitting name for your pet bull or plush toy?
You’ve come to the right place! This blog post is packed full of strong and unique bull names. Each one of these monikers has been handpicked for its originality and charm. If you want to find that perfect name for your new bovine friend, read on!
How to choose a name for a bull
Sadly, real-life bulls often end up as beef. Due to animal welfare issues, I can’t support bull rodeo either. The famous Pamplona bull run and bullfighting are cruel traditions too.
Chances are you’re not looking for a name for a real-life bull, though. It’s not exactly a popular pet. But maybe you’re after a name for a fictional bull or even a plush toy.
Choosing a name for your pet (fictional or real) is an exciting and fun process that requires careful consideration. A great name reflects your bull’s personality and makes him stand out in the herd.
First, consider the bull’s breed and characteristics. Think about his color, size, and temperament. Is he a gentle giant, or does he have a fiery personality? These traits can inspire names such as Rufus for a red bull or Thunderbolt for one with high energy.
Second, think about famous bulls from mythology or pop culture. Seek inspiration from fictional characters such as Ferdinand from the children’s book The Story of Ferdinand.

Did I miss it or did you totally miss Elmer and his son Beauregard? Elmer was Elsie’s (bull)husband and she was the most identifiable icon in the 1940’s…Elsie was the face of the Bordon Milk Company and Elmer, her husband was the icon of the chemical division of Bordon Milk and was the face of their famous glue still in use today.
I’ve never heard of Elmer and Beauregard before. I knew about Elsie (mentioned her in the post about cow names), but I didn’t know she had a husband and son. Thank you so much for letting me know about them!
